Dogs in Need of Sponsorship/Emergency Room Cases

Donations are greatly appreciated and always in need.

All of our rescues receive basic medical exams, tests and treatments for parasites (including heartworm), are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and placed in foster care to be assessed for adoption. Many of our dogs are in need of additional medical treatments due to neglect or abuse by their prior owners. We must also provide monthly preventative treatments to our dogs while they’re in our care, which is costly. At times, we are asked to take in dogs that suffer from severe injuries or medical conditions and require major surgery, including “Grinch” and “Hero” this year. Our group is the last hope for these dogs; otherwise, they would be euthanized. Our vet bill has consistently been in the thousands of dollars for the past couple of years; unfortunately, our adoption fees are not enough to offset this cost.  We would like to never have to decline a dog into our rescue due to lack of funds, but our ability to help is directly impacted by support from our donors.

If you would like to support us in our efforts to save and find homes for Boxers and Schnauzers in need, please consider making a donation. Your generous monetary contribution will be used to pay for medical treatments or basic care for one of our dogs. You may use PayPal to submit your donation or send a check to:

Boxer-Schnauzer Rescue of the Ozarks
PO Box 8824
Springfield, MO 65801

If you would like to have your name listed on this web page as a contributor to our organization, please let us know by including a note with your PayPal donation or your personal check. Once your donation has been received, your name will appear during the current calendar year.

Again, on behalf of the many Boxers and Schnauzers that need your help, THANK YOU!
